Disneyland

If you’re someone who thinks that Disneyland is magical, but you haven’t been during Christmas, it’s time that you get yourself there before they tear down all of the decorations. You still have a couple of weeks!

They call it the happiest place on earth, and who can argue that? A trip to Disneyland has to be one of my favorite holiday festivities. I’ve been to the park countless times, but I can never get enough.

We spent the day hopping between parks carefully strategizing our Fastpass useage. Our day started at California Adventure in the single riders line at Radiator Spring Racers. I love Cars Land. We sat down on the ride in about 4 minutes. Much better than waiting an hour and a half in the regular stand-by line.

We said our goodbyes to Tower of Terror, said hello to Soarin’ over the World, and made sure to eat a couple of churros along the way. California Adventure is awesome, and the park continues to improve, but nothing compares to Disneyland.

Disneyland is full of incredible food options. Monte cristo’s, beignets, Dole whips, and so much more. We couldn’t leave the park without a trip to our favorite "Little Red Wagon" to order a couple of piping hot corn dogs. Don’t let the line scare you. It’s worth the wait.

About halfway through the day, we took a break to sit and watch the Christmas Fantasy parade that strolls right down Main Street U.S.A. I can’t wait for the day where Cameron and I get to take our future kiddos and share the magic of Disney with them.

During the holidays, everything in park is transformed into a Disney themed winter-wonderland. Main street is bombarded with lights, garland, and a gigantic christmas tree. In the late evening, after the snow falls on Main Street, the castle is transformed with thousands of lights into a beautiful snow covered spectacle.

Even the normal Disneyland fireworks show changes during the Christmas season. We were able to enjoy "Believe in Holiday Magic” fireworks show in reserved seating directly in front of the castle. (Thanks, Barb!) Disneyland doesn’t mess around. They know how to do it up right for Christmas.

Most of us have at least one Disney memory that we would relive everyday if we could. For me, it’s my first date with my husband. We spent the day at Disneyland and dined at Club 33. Every time I go with Cameron, it is just as special as the first. Can’t wait to get back soon.

Merry Christmas, everybody!

With love,
